In contrast with the anonymous uniformity of much of the newly built townhouses in Bucharest, the S house favors heterogeneous expression over relentless repetition. The conjoined units are fit together to create a vibrant façade. This façade is then broken into two masses, a boutique hotel with a duplex apartment above, further divided to create a unique space on the roof terrace, overlooking the city.
